Welcome to Writing Stuff Today.  

Around 15 years ago I created this blogspot and promptly forgot it. Now, after 40 years of teaching, studying, and doing research on writing, I plan to regularly add news, links, and advice about writing. I hope it helps and inspires you. 

My first goal is to add a post every week.

My first piece of advice: tell the truth. Good writing is honest writing. 

This guidance comes not only from holy books like the Bible, but also from philosophy. Cicero thought honesty is best, and so did Confucius. Once, I even dreamed about my late father giving me advice on writing, and that is what he said.
